    Interesting subtleties

I'm gonna dance on the edge of revelation here by showing this vid in the General Forum. It's a long vid that features Aiden Sinclair performing an effect that many of you will be intimately familiar with. Once you identify what he's doing, you'll really appreciate his subtleties, from :47 to 1:26 and at 1:35. Those were GENIUS. More than enough to make up for how he and Rodeo Rick keep saying "discomboobulated."

    Enjoy.

Genius is right! I think that I might just have to change up my patter and routine and start practicing that version of the effect instead; I can imagine that this would get equal, if not better reactions that the classic plot.

    Good find, thanks for sharing!

Disconboobulated was said alot. Are you aloud to say boob on the radio because I think Rodeo Rick may have found a work around.

I always thought that deck was excellent for this kind of effect. This is a fairly direct approach to it which is made awesome by the presentation. For anyone looking for other approaches, Steve Bedwell mixes the deck ups and down, then puts it in a box and closes it further, someone names a card and you show the same ending in the vid.

David Ben has a somewhat similar approach to that as well thats a bit more sophisticated.

    Ugh haha...

When I use to perform the Invisible deck I did something similar only my presentation was based on Triumph more. "someone must have mixed these up but lets see if this works anyways" and head into it.

    Love the whole presentation!

As soon as he said, "Imagination" a lightbulb went off in my head. I really like the presentation, but I do feel like it's cheapened a bit by the black deck. But that's just me.

edit: Although the black deck does make the distribution of face up and face down cards less obvious.

After looking into this guy some more I'd really like to see his full show. I'm intrigued by the premise.

I loved that performance, so simple and bold, yet so powerful.
