    Questioning effect's originality

Last night, while falling asleep, I was going through different effects in my head when I stumbled upon Here and There. The I figured "you know, this trick would be a whole lot better using a signed card" and proceeded to come up with a method to do so.

So, my question is: has anyone ever seen this effect performed using a signed card?

Good job coming up with it on your own. Doing it with a signed card is a nice touch and one of the many variations. Wayne Houchin has a very nice variation of it called French Kiss on his Art of Magic video.

    Cheers,

Yup. A signed version is already out there. Like what Arvind said, french kiss by Wayne Houchin is a nice variation of this effect. There are other variations that only has the spectators card signed as well.

Okay, thanks for the info, I'll try checking out his version to see how different it is from mine.

    Thanks again! :)

    *EDIT*

All right, so I checked out a video of him performing and it is quite different from my version. To start, mine only has the spectator's card signed (although, after watching the performance of French Kiss, I also figured out how I could use both cards signed). And, although his version is really awesome, mine uses psychological misdirection to make the spectator think that their card has never been touched by me, which does add to the effect. Now I'm thinking that I should probably try to find a way of incorporating my misdirection to how I think French Kiss is performed to give it the ultimate edge!

Thanks again, looking into it has allowed me to open up a new door for the performing of the trick! Once I figure out all the details and decide to bring it out to perform, I'll try filming it and posting a video here so that I could get some comments and maybe make the trick even better :)
