My Prediction- Criss Angel Levitation 2009

So I was flipping through the channels today and I saw a commercial about Criss Angel and his five lives. I don't really watch him anymore but I was kind of curious about it so I watched it. He's going to try one thing that i'm interested to see. (Check paragraphs below.)


Ok so this Wed. (Aug. 26, 2009) Criss Angel will be attempting "a mass levitation." I'm not quite sure what that means. But anyway in the commercial it said he will attempt to levitate the people at home watching the show.

Anyway I thought it might be fun to try to predict what he will say during this "demonstration"

My Prediction:

When he is doing this "mindfreak" as he calls it:

1. I BELIEVE (get it cause that's the name of his show.) he will tell the people at home to sit or lay down.

2. He will then tell the people to close their eyes and "believe".

3. Next he will have the people think/feel themselves rising up off the object they are laying or sitting on.

4. He will say something like "Now I want you to have yourself come back down...slowly...slowly"

5. Then all the people that call themselves "the loyals" will write about it on his website and be like. "Holy cow I totally just levitated!!!!"

Note:
This can either go well or I could be totally off........this is all meant to be fun....I'm not trying to put down Criss or anyone else.

I don't like many of Criss Angel's effects, as they are all staged and fake. Great entertainment though as long as you dont really care whether its staged or not :D

I am definitely not much for bragging, but I have actually met Criss. I must say that his performance style is not BAD but it's not good either. I also HATE his off-camera way of life. In case none of you have noticed when he is on camera, he is quite the flirt. Off camera, he is much worse in that he does magic basically to get girls. Now, please don't misjudge me because it sounds like I am bad mouthing a magician because that is certainly not my intent. I think Criss Angel is a rather good magician being that his up-close street effects are needless to say, a little stunning. The thing I do not like is 1. His performing style. 2. His off camera way of life. 3. The way he presents himself as a person. All of his success has reached his head and he takes way too much advantage of it the same way some police officers abuse their power of authority.

I didn't think he said FAKE in the sense of "Magic is only sleight of hands or illusions but it's not really magic"
He said it was FAKE because Criss uses stooges and camera tricks to do the magic. He is not "alone doing the trick".
