My submission is a detailed study of 1800's cards. It is a montage of a few photos so I'm not sure if it is eligable. It had to be compressed a lot to upload in this post but here is a link to a better quality version.

This is a pic. of all the cards I got in the sample pack and an Ultra-gaff deck. It also has my necklaces and sunglasses I use when I perform, and of course to the right is the money you could be saving by buying your E decks in bulk. :)

For my entry I chose to do something that reflects my thought about magic. Personally I feel that magic is at its most magical when it is done with cards. Magic for me is like a naturally beautiful woman with mysterious eyes looking out on something unknown.
I chose to manipulate the rose so that it looks like it consists partly of cards. This was because I feel that cards should be treated gently and with respect. That way you have the most powerful weapon always ready to trigger at your fingertips. This reflects in the gentle way the woman holds the rose.
Everything is in black and white exept the rose. This was done to help drawing the focus onto the rose and the cards. It is a littlebit hard to see the cards in the rose on the compressed picture, so a bigger picture can be found here:

Titled - That Moment.
Reflections of my first magic encounter.
"I couldn't see his face. But for that split second, it didn't matter. Nothing did. He showed me things I never dreamed were possible. Everything I once knew, the rules, the facts, real life, my reality, all of it became meaningless.
Was it real?
I didn't know, but I believe my eyes and right now they're telling me that reality, is merely an illusion, that the rules CAN be broken and that we as people are truly capable of magnificent feats!
Moments later, the man left, just as mysteriously as he arrived. He had taken with him all of my perceptions about this world and what we are capable of.
From that day I knew, that the ability to create illusions of reality in the minds of men would be a gift of great power. One which would be capable of bringing wonder and amazement to anyone and all who witnessed it, just as I had that day.
Was it an illusion?
Maybe so, but the feelings and effects it had on me were very very real, that I can assure you.
