Hey De'vo.
First of all, thanks for the great dvds de'ring and XBers! For a long time now I have been practicing my magic, XCM, and flourishes, (about 6 months) by myself in front of a mirror, with my webcam, etc.. but I am going to be performing for the first time at my friends halloween party.
I remember the first time I saw close up card magic was from a guy at camp. After a game of ERS, he mentioned he was a magician and I was a little skeptical about his abilities. Then, he busted out an advanced cut (never knew the name, but I think it was an advanced false sybil) and it blew me away.
Now to my question... what do you think I should do in the first few seconds of my presentation to just immediately catch their attention. Should I do de'ring? an advanced cut like symphony of rain? or should I just start with a magic trick like xtreme burn by richard sandars?

I hope someone replies...
I hope people still read and reply to the posts on this particular forum. First off, I really like the DVD. Well done De'vo (and others), great job :). I was just wondering if I could have some extra advice on stops for dice stacking because that's what I have trouble with. Thanks!
