Oh wow, that is definitely enough. Two would have been more than plenty, so I think you'll be alright for a good long while :) One refill is like 30 gimmicks so you should be good to go.

Practicing with it you will be replacing it pretty often until you get used to it (That is of course if you haven't used this particular gimmick in the past). As long as you are careful with it, one should last you alot of performances. I have used one well more than 20 times.

Just be careful with it and give it the proper amount of time of practice and you shouldn't have any problems. Kranzo structured a very nice routine. Enjoy!

Six refills are too much! The DVD already comes with a packet of the gimmick and that should last a long time. Six refills is simply too much and you won't be able to use all of them. You'd be much better off using the money for the 5 refills you saved for a few deck of cards.

I agree with what the other members have said. So, with the 6 refills, as you won't use them all up for quite some time, once you do indeed receive your package and find out what *they* are, brainstorm new effects or effects already created that may possibly use the "refill", and go from there. (Also, you will be able to practice Box Monster with the gimmicks a lot more to fine-tune this effect with the vast amount of refills you ordered without going through "many" of "them".)

Six refills is a bit excessive, as you may be able to perform Box Monster anywhere from thirty (30) to fifty (50) times using ONE refill (or possibly even more depending on how you use it). That amounts to performing this effect so many times! So my suggestion is to be creative and inventive to see what else you could make-up and accomplish with the *refills* you purchased for now, as opposed to them "waiting to be used" while you gradually use the other refills. :-)

    Have fun!

    Warm Regards,

Once you get the gimmick and know what they are, you can use all those extras to practice for a whole other category of magic. You might know what i mean once you get it. If not go ahead and pm me.

I got this effect about three days ago, and i have broken many gimmicks trying to get my feel for them, and i am not even half way through my first refill (that comes with the DVD), let alone the refill i bought. I have broken enough gimmicks, that i am know able to use the same one for up to 10-20 performances EASY. And this is my first week of having it. (although i must admit, i have had experience with "similar gimmicks" in the past)

I can tell that now that i am used to using it, my second refill is going to last a LONG time. I will only become more efficient at preserving the gimmicks as i continue to perform. 6 refills very well may be a life time supply if you are only going to use them for box monster.

As far as this being a great trick - you have no idea. I perform tricks for my friends at work and at school all the time. They like most of my tricks, but a trick like THIS, a trick that defies all logic, a trick that no possible sleight of hand could accomplish is just MINDBLOWING.

If they do not know how a trick works, which they never do, they can always sub conciously say to themselves "man, he must have some WICKED sleight of hand or something... because SOMEHOW he had to have tricked us" With this trick, how can they blame it on sleight of hand if you dont use your hands? The card moves itself. They have nothing left to blame it on but magic.

My coworker brought in her own deck today, and said "do it THIS TIME". I think she almost had a heart attack when her own cards started to move.
